See Where Your Wallet Was Detected
After the card is linked to your Apple ID, it appears in the Find My app alongside your supported devices and items. Open the item page to view its most recently reported location, check the battery status, and request directions.
When the tracker is outside your phone’s direct Bluetooth range, location updates can be relayed securely through Apple’s Find My network when a participating Apple device detects it nearby.
Get an Alert Before “Where Did I Put It?” Becomes a Problem
Find My can notify you when the tracked wallet is no longer detected near your iPhone. This provides an early warning when you leave a café, office, vehicle, hotel, or home without the item.

The speaker is intended for nearby finding. Loudness and detection distance can vary with walls, surrounding noise, battery level, and whether the card is enclosed inside a thick wallet or bag.
Move It Between the Items You Care About Most
Keep the card in your main wallet during the workweek, then transfer it to a passport holder, travel organizer, laptop sleeve, camera bag, or luggage pocket when you need extra peace of mind.
For the strongest audible performance and reliable detection, avoid fully enclosing the card in metal-lined or signal-blocking compartments.
