How to test the photochromic effect
Expose the lenses to direct sunlight or a UV light source and allow approximately 10–15 seconds for a visible change. Indoor lighting and cloudy conditions may not provide enough UV to show the full tint response. Tint performance inside a vehicle can also vary because some windscreens filter ultraviolet light.
